Muscle & Movement

Muscle is the investment you'll never regret after 40.

A 90-minute masterclass on defending your muscle and moving well when time is short. The minimum effective dose that survives a brutal week. Live online. Recording and protocol included.

Join the masterclass, US$127

The first Wednesday of every month. Three sittings: one for Asia Pacific, one for Europe, one for the Americas.
90 minutes, live online, recording included.

The problem

Your spin class lied to you.

Endurance alone can't give you what you're actually chasing after 40, and every year you don't defend your muscle, you lose a little more.

With it goes your metabolism, your energy and your everyday capability. The good news: this is one of the fastest things to turn around, and with less effort than you think.

What you'll learn

The two levers, and the floor beneath them

What you'll leave with

A training plan

Two or three sessions a week that survive travel, crises and a bad Monday.

A movement floor

What still counts on the days you can't train, and why walking earns its place.

The healthspan protocol

A programme to help you train for the Centenarian Games, living to 100 and loving it.

Who it's for

Time-poor leaders who don't need convincing that training matters. You need a version of it that survives a week with no boundaries left.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much training do I actually need after 40?

Two or three strength sessions a week is enough to defend your muscle, if they use compound lifts and you add a little weight or one more rep as they get easier. That's roughly 90 minutes of training a week. The masterclass shows you how to build those sessions so they survive a week that goes wrong.

Do I need a gym?

No. The plan works with a gym, with a set of dumbbells at home, or with bodyweight if that's what this month allows. What matters is progressive overload, which means the work gets slightly harder over time, not the equipment you own.

Is this suitable for women?

Yes. Training after 40 differs for men and for women, and the session covers both tracks, including why fasted training can backfire and what changes through the perimenopausal years.

What if I can't make the live session?

Every attendee gets the recording within 24 hours, along with a one-page protocol and a workbook. You can also join whichever of the three sittings suits your time zone: 7am, 12pm or 7pm UK.

How is this different from a personal trainer?

A trainer runs your sessions. This teaches you the system behind them, so you can build a week yourself and adapt it when work, travel or a bad month gets in the way.

What if I can't make it, or change my mind?

Every attendee gets the recording within 24 hours, so a clash doesn't cost you the class. Because of that we don't refund once the session has run. If you need to move to a later month, email us before the class and we'll switch you.

Is the session recorded, and will I be on it?

Yes, every session is recorded so you get it within 24 hours whether or not you make it live. The recording follows the active speaker, so unless you unmute and speak you won't appear in it. Zoom asks everyone to agree before recording starts. If you'd rather stay off it entirely, keep your camera off and use the chat, and I'll bring your question in without naming you.
